Wedding fair table decorations at Ascot

Cherubs at Brides Wedding Fair at Ascot Race Course

Wedding fairs are a bit like the Big Day itself, lots of planning and stress, creating new ideas, sticking to budgets and keeping the family happy through it all.

The Cherubs team have just completed two full days at the Brides 2016 Ascot race course wedding fair.

We met  brides and their future grooms, mothers of the bride and grooms, bridesmaids and the rest of the family who all had a chance to see what’s on offer from wedding specialists like us to cake makers, dress suppliers and even magicians.

We had a fantastic location at the start of the main block of stands on the second floor and our dazzling mirror-topped table was the centr piece of the stand and played host to several table display giving a vast choice of the different styles and  budgets we can cater for.

The colour pallete for the stand was a background of Cherubs Grey with all the floral content in hues of pinks, plum and lilac using hydrangea, stocks, freesias, roses in several colours, calla lilies, ranunculus, paper whites and the first batch of the season of pink peonies.

We had silver diamante studded charger plates dressed with napkins tied in white ribbon and large blush pink roses on top. This was echoed in our white chair sashes with a clusters of large velvety roses attached which look stunning on our elegant lime washed chiavari chairs.

Violet coloured glasses and silver cutlery circled our grand centrepiece in sugared almond shades of flowers. Dotted around were antiqued shining silver vases filled with pretty and unusual aubergine-coloured calla lilies and delicate pink roses.

Our unique white vinyl chairs held three samples of our bouquets - cream roses, each bloom studded with a tiny diamante stone; an arrangement of the aubergine calla lilies and cool modern roses and a fragrant bouquet with some sweet old fashioned flowers like freesias, roses and chrysanthemums.

On top of our Perspex plinths were vase arrangements, towering candelabras and tall thin silver candelabras with sphere displays of gypsophilia in descending heights

We were incredibly busy through Saturday and Sunday with lots of brides wanting to book straight away and to come and see us for a consultation – which is when we can really find out about their tastes and expectations and let the fun begin with planning.

And you can see all the above and more in our showroom the houses the eclectic Cherubs collection of wedding props and flowers items to help make your happy day.
