Lynsey is a top wedding photographer for Studio Rouge. She has seen it all in her 15-year career – her challenge to us for her wedding to Chris was to create something she had not seen before.
She vetoed anything pink and asked for urban chic and off-the-wall. We designed innovative towering table centrepieces using silver spheres in contemporary vases filled with fruit, moss, ornamental cabbages and baby vegetables, all in hues of deep purple, verdant green, with a hint of orange (Goldfish).
One of Lynseys requests was for her bouquet to literally hit the floor, using 300 Vanda orchids and 3 hours of wiring we achieved it. Her bridesmaids wore black jumpsuits, which we contrasted with diamanti studded lime green shamrock bouquets wrapped in black tulle.
The top table featured an inventive overhead perspex tank filled with live goldfish (rest assured no fish were harmed during the making of this wedding). In fact, we reckon they probably enjoyed it as much as the guests!
Cherubs went beyond the level of service that we thought we were going to get which would have been amazing however these guys took it to the next level and gave me the most amazing photos of wedding flowers that I could only ever dream of. Knowing they were there on the day going beyond the call of duty to ensure every single last element was correct, gave me the chance to enjoy my special day. They were such a pleasure to work with, enormously creativity matched with great professionalism and efficiency and above all else so much FUN to work with, even after several bottles of Savignon Blanc which made Marcs creative juices flow. We love Cherubs.
