Urban - off the wall
Linzi and chris
Linzy is a wedding photographer so she has seen it all in her 15-year career – and her challenge to us for her wedding to Chris was “something I’ve not seen before”.
She vetoed anything pink and asked for urban chic and off-the-wall design. We designed innovative towering table centrepieces using glass spheres and contemporary vases filled with fruit and moss or foliage and baubles with miniature cabbages and baby vegetables, all in hues of deep purple, verdant green and cobalt blue.
Linzy asked for her bouquet to reach the floor and we used more than 300 rich azure Vanda orchids studded with diamante and wrapped in black tuile. Her bridesmaids wore black, a brilliant contrast for their bouquets of green shamrock chrysanthemums. And the bridal party ftted perfectly when photographed against a c olourful graffiti wall.
The top table featured an inventive overhead tank full of live goldfish – rest assured none were harmed during the making of this wedding. In fact, we reckon they probably enjoyed it as much as the guests!
